August 28, 2009 – The YMCA of Garfield, New Jersey, has selected web-based, hosted YMCA software from The Active Network, Inc., to automate administration, track member involvement, and centralize data for improved reporting. With three additional satellite sites planned for the future, the YMCA was seeking a scalable, modular software solution that would grow as its budget and resources would allow.
Following a competitive analysis, the YMCA of Garfield selected Active as its technology provider of choice due to the functionality, affordability, and marketing capabilities of its web-based software, ActiveNet. The YMCA also selected ActiveNet because of its Public Access module that provides members 24/7 online access to its services in addition to program registration. By combining centralized data access with targeted marketing tools, the YMCA will be able to more effectively and efficiently communicate with its community in addition to alleviating time-consuming, paper-based processes.
