Del Webb at Lake Oconee Selects Community Management Software from ActiveCommunities to Manage New $9 Million Amenity Center

October 28, 2008 – Del Webb at Lake Oconee, an active adult community for adults age 55 and over, has selected ActiveCommunities, a division of The Active Network, Inc., to provide community management software for its new amenity center. Del Webb at Lake Oconee will use ActiveCommunities’ software technology to improve front-desk efficiencies as well as provide automated access control to its facilities.

Active Communities’ web-based, hosted software will enable Del Webb at Lake Oconee to streamline registration processes for drop-in classes, facility rentals, and member management. The software also integrates with Active’s access control solutions, which will allow the amenity center to carry out facility access rules at the membership level, using ID cards and gatekickers for unmanned entry points. The web-based software is also be using by Sun City Carolina Lakes by Del Webb.
