YMCA of Greater San Antonio Selects Active Network, Communities’ Software Solution for Improved Efficiencies, Fundraising Capabilities and Business Oversight

October 13, 2008 – The YMCA of Greater San Antonio has selected The Active Network, Inc., to provide operations management software throughout all of its branches. The organization will use Active’s operations management software to drive business online, create new efficiencies, improve business management and reporting, and reduce paper-based processes.

Following approximately two years of research and planning a transition from Y-Metro software, the YMCA of Greater San Antonio follows the YMCAs of Greater Houston and Greenville/Hunt County as the third YMCA in the state of Texas to select Active’s non-profits software. The YMCA of Greater San Antonio selected Active Network, Communities’ software for its user-friendly, intuitive interface, membership and program management capabilities, and integration with fundraising software solutions.
